Essay

We are interested in publishing investigative, critical, and lyrical essays.  We always welcome prose that focuses on contemporary poetics and poetry, including translation,  as well as investigative pieces on politics, personal essay,  and belle lettres.   Essays should be no more than 7500 words maximum.

If your submission is accepted elsewhere, please withdraw the submission in Submittable. There is no need to notify us of withdrawals outside our Submittable account.

Our response time is generally within two to six months. We may be faster, and we may also take longer, especially during semester breaks. Please write to us if we are later than 6 months getting back to you.
